Ōpaheke girls from year 3 to 8 are able to join the Opaheke Netball Club.Grades available are:
- Future Ferns which caters for Year 3 and 4 girls
- Juniors which caters for girls up to Year 6
- Intermediate which caters for girls in Year 7 and 8.
Trials take place in February. Girls are placed into teams according to their age and ability.A fee is required, part of which is payable to the Papakura Netball Association, part for uniform maintenance, netballs etc. Practices are usually held once a week at School. Competitive games are held on Saturdays. Games are not held during statutory or school holidays with the season ending in August.
